Guitar Lick and Lesson - 1/2 Step Bends with Vibrato

A great way to make a guitar lick sizzle!!

  1. This is is difficult technique, stick with it.
  2. Practice only on the 4 bends that I showed you in the E blues scale (see half step bends)
  3. Practice the bends alone with the PRACTICE TRACK 1
  4. Move the left wrist back and forth to make the vibrato
  5. DON'T release the bend before you play the next note
  6. DO mute the the bent string with the pick OR the fingers that are bending the guitar string before you play the next note
    • I like to use my fingers. Just release the pressure on the string (still keep finger on the string) and it will stop the ringing

Listen to these bend w/vibrato examples then try to play them!
