Guitar Lick - Guitar Lesson
-Double Stops
This technique will add some meat to a guitar lick!
- Double stop is just another way of saying two notes
strummed or played at the same time
- Think about the double stop technique as a small guitar chord
- Use a quick wrist motion to make it snap in a guitar lick!
- Many double stops are played by barring your finger over 2 strings
(PICTURE 1 AND 2)
- Another way of playing these is to use your guitar pick and
middle finger to pluck it. This will give you a different sound and it will be harder to move
back to single notes while playing a guitar lick.
