Guitar Pedals Order Lesson



Don't let your sound get destroyed by placing your guitar pedals in the wrong order!!

 

 

 

Your guitar pedals (sometimes referred to as stompboxes) should compliment or enhance your guitar tone. Choose a pedal that will add a specific quality which your current guitar tone is lacking.

For Instance: Don't add an equalizer when you could have worked more on adjusting your amp and guitar settings.

The signal chain, the order in which your pedals are hooked together, can make or break your sound. Here is the proper order for a basic pedal rig:
