AccessRock
is a free interactive web site for aspiring rock guitarists.
Our goal is to give guitar players the tools and training they need
to reach their goals, and at the same time, provide a really interesting,
interactive, online experience.
NO MEMBERSHIP OR FEES ARE REQUIRED!! We are an entirely free web site. We earn money from advertisers and affiliates.
The Lessons - The bulk of the guitar lessons
are organized to guide you from one lesson to the next in a logical
order(easiest to hardest). During the registration process, the
guitarist can specify his or her ability, years studied, and music
interests, and we will email a list of recommended guitar lessons,
practice tips, and other helpful ideas to steer him or her in the
right direction.
Most all of the guitar lessons in this site were created and written
by Mike Abbott (unless otherwise noted). Mike is a pro
guitarist who has been performing, recording, and touring
with bands for over 15 years. He has performed with The Rolling Stones Horns, Sammy Davis Jr., Burt Bacharach, Paul Schaffer (David Letterman Show). He has performed in bands which have opened for Tower of Power and Dickie Betts.
Mike has also transcribed rock and blues guitar
books and songs for Guitar World magazine, Warner Brothers Publications,
and Hal Leonard Publications.
